NATIONAL MARTIAL ARTS DAY Along with KICK A THON TO WAS HELD SATURDAY OCTOBER 16
... from 11:30am to 2:30pm with the KICK A THON Being done fron 1-2pm to coincide with all other martial artist in the US to break world record. This was a very sucessful day & we all had alot of fun. NOTE: As of Nov. 11, 2004 ..YES we broke the World Record with 8,380,119 Kicks perfromed in one hour raising nearly $250,000.00 to go towards helping disadvantaged kids partcipate in Martial Arts Classes. OUR CLUB had 34 participants and threw 48,904 Kicks and raised $513.50 towards the cause. WAY TO GO CLASS!!!!!!
KICK A THON:
In conjuction with National Martial Arts Day & Project Action all proceeds will go to the Project Action Agency to help kids who can not afford it to take Karate Classes, Dance or Gymnastics in our area.For info you can go to

LAST ATTENDED TOURNAMENT RESULTS: George Annarino tournament was held Sunday Dec. 5th at Lakewood Jr. High School in Lakewood Ohio near Heath. Results are as follows...three Karate Students from Jeff Hardwick's Karate School Competed in the Anarino's Karate Tournament Sunday Dec.5th at Lakewood High School in Hebron Ohio and received 8 medals They were..
Devan Casitllo = Gold in Jujitsu grappling, Silver in Hand Forms & Fighting in 9-10 year old novice girls div.
Dalton Smeltzer= Bronzein Fighting, & hand forms in 5-6 year old boys novice.
Brad Seward= Grand Champion in Points overall, Gold in Martial Arts Weapons, Silver in Hand Forms & Fighting in Adult Novice Div.

SCHEDULED PROMOTIONS: Many students are working on their next promotions and I will let you know which students will be scheduled for our next Saturday Promotions. If you are not sure if you are to be scheduled...check with any sensei or Master Hardwick. PLEASE remember that all promotions have a nominal fee payable to Master Hardwick. These fees are printed on the Karate Club Brochures and are in addtion to Fees for classes. Almost all karate schools charge fees for belt promotion. I have found that our cost are the least expensive of any I have found to date.
SPECIAL CONGRATS TO: Sensei Greg Potts (3rd Degree)& Sensei Butch Morgan (2nd Degree)who were honored with Black Belt Degree Advancement on Monday June 28. They were both very deserving of this rank.(See photo on pictures page)
